A highly absorbent organic cotton knit fitted pad to keep your Twin mattress protected! Extra Deep 14" pocket for a thicker mattress. Made with a layer of organic cotton batting and organic cotton knit fabric, this pad is great for keeping your mattress extra safe. The organic cotton knit fitted pad is thinner and less absorbant than the quilted organic cotton pad but is also very soft and easier to machine wash and dry. Great for usage as one's regular protection pad by itself. Machine wash and dry on regular. Add 1/4 cup of vinegar to the load to increase softeness. This pad is not pre-shrunk and is built for shrinkage as a result. Once washed this pad should shrink to its proper size. If desired, one can use this pad in conjunction with our wool moisture or puddle pad for ultimate protection and ease of use (wool puddle or moisture pads are naturally liquid resistant so they prevent any liquids from potentially getting through onto the mattress that are not immediatly absorbed by the cotton pad). It would go underneath the cotton pad(so the order would be from botton to top: mattress, moisture/puddle pad, cotton pad, and then fitted sheet). Made here at our San Diego, CA Facility.
