A 9" thick Queen Split foundation featuring an organic cotton damask fabric outer for the sides quilted to Ecowool batting, a organic cotton thin canvas top and botton, and a Solid untreated raised slatted wood inner. Wool is used in the quilted outer for a variety of reasons including its natural temperature regulating properties, natural fire retardant properties, and its bacterial resistance. The solid wood pieces used are pine, fir, and spruce. The wood is kiln dried. The slatted design under the organic cotton top fabric allows for optimal breathability and support, especially recommended for usage with a natural mattresses. This foundation should work with any frame and coordinates well with our organic mattresses aesethtically. Spot clean only. Spot clean using 1 part natural cleaner or vinegar to 2 parts water.
