I’ve been thinking a lot lately about small, DIYable home improvement projects, especially for the bathroom. \u00a0While there’s a good argument for routine remodeling and regular renovations, sometimes a little goes \u00a0a long way in a small space like the bathroom<\/a>. \u00a0So if you’re looking to do a little face lift or add a little luxury to your bathroom without going all-out, consider this: is it time to replace your shower head?\u00a0At first glance, swapping out your shower head might seem like an odd choice for a weekend project, but there are a few reasons you might want to consider it.<\/p>\n

Shower heads can see a lot of wear and tear, especially if you have very hard water, and are prone to showing their age. I’ve spent more than a little time on this blog talking about custom showers<\/a>, because if you have a huge budget and want to do a major bathroom remodel, well, that’s what you do. \u00a0But just because you’re on a budget – or don’t want to rip out your whole shower! – doesn’t mean you cant enjoy a decadent shower. If a massage shower head isn’t quite enough, you can further upgrade to a luxury rainfall shower head<\/a>. In fact, an experienced DIYer could probably have the job done in about ten minutes (though if you’ve never worked with plumbing before, give yourself a good hour or two to be safe!).
