-Make sure the fan terminates outside instead of into the attic or wall.<\/p>\n

-The venting outside should point downwards so that when it rains, water doesn’t get in.<\/p>\n

-Choose a fan that is energy efficient and meets standards of Energy star<\/p>\n

For optimum results with your bathroom fan, choose one with a silent engine. Most modern ventilators are almost completely silent. A roaring engine can really disrupt the sense of peace in the restroom. Another good habit to get into is running the fan for twenty minutes after your shower or bath. This will remove the vapor without overworking the fan.<\/p>\n
